Great 3 points.
Our midfield serious needs to improve it's forward passing though. Benrahma transformed us just by being positive and looking to go forward. Soucek actually improved a bit and was the best of a bad bunch. Hopefully brings some confidence to repeat the 2nd half against Spurs.

First half set up was a negative disgrace and benhrama changed the game massively.
Loved the deflected goal, but he needed it as fornals was very anonymous before it and fuck knows what's happened tobthe Czechs, both absolute pony at the moment.
Really thino scamacca looks a player if we actually give him service, fingers crossed paqueta is the man fir the job.
Thought zouma and kehrer were superb, though at the same time villa were absolutely shit and played into their hands, but different class on the day.
Bumped into One Mac and Gentry who I hadn't see for ages as well, good times.

It wasn't pretty but we got the points on the board.
Took the sting out of them in the first half and upped the tempo in the second. The kind of win you need to get a run going.
They need to turn up against Spurs and put in a solid performance.

Need to build on this vs Spurs who are a strong side with key players doing well so far...

I thought the players who ended up as the back four all played well. Also, Soucek. It was his job to nullify Coutinho and he didn't give him a kick. Other than that, they were all pretty shit, including Rice, who was slightly less shit 2nd half. As for Bowen - Jeez!
